BIOGRAPHY
WHAT MAKES ME TICK
From since I remember I have always wanted to be a creative and I have been professionally now for the past 3 years. I've worked in a fair few capacities including freelance, a publishing house, in-house and agency capacity. I create thought provoking materials in a variety of mediums including print and new media, I also dabble in a bit of motion and 3D. I've been fortunate enough to work with some great brands and people, which have developed my skills to allow me to approach briefs in a nimble, flexible and strategic way.
Apart from the business side of design I also tend to involve myself in a great deal of creative charity work, as I'm a firm believer of using my skills for good.
I'm based in Manchester, the heart of the North West but I know how to get around on planes, trains and automobiles. And, thanks to the power of the Internet, I can virtually work anywhere in the world.
Although I started long ago on a 486DX PC running Windows 3.1, I've upgraded
since then and create the majority of my work on my iMac 24", Macbook Pro and iPhone. Not to
mention the photography which I shoot using the trusted help of my Nikon D40.
Apart from the technical aspects involved in what I create, I never forget the three most important tools I have, a good pair of
hands and an idea-creating mind. It's amazing what a single idea can achieve with a bit of creative passion thrown in.
